SMS consent policy

SMS delivery is not enabled in the current Muse 0.1 launch. This policy describes the consent boundary that must apply before any future transactional verification text is enabled.

VerifyMyAgent sends a transactional verification text only after the recipient explicitly asks to receive it during an interaction with an AI agent. These messages are not marketing or promotional messages.

Verbal consent script

“Would you like VerifyMyAgent to text you a secure link so you can independently verify who this AI agent represents and whether that registered relationship is current? You’ll receive one verification text for this request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Terms: verifymyagent.ai/terms. Privacy: verifymyagent.ai/privacy. Would you like VerifyMyAgent to send you that verification text? Please say yes to receive the text or no to continue without SMS.”

The text is sent only after an affirmative response such as “yes.” After consent, the agent may confirm: “Great. VerifyMyAgent will send the verification text shortly.”

Who sends the message

VerifyMyAgent sends the verification SMS from its own messaging number. AI agents cannot compose or send arbitrary SMS messages through VerifyMyAgent. VerifyMyAgent controls the message template, consent requirement, verification link, and delivery flow.

Message frequency and content

One verification text per recipient-requested verification, except an operational retry if delivery fails.
The message contains a secure VerifyMyAgent verification link for that interaction.
No marketing, advertising, or promotional content is sent through this flow.
Recipients may reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.
Standard message and data rates may apply.

Consent enforcement

VerifyMyAgent requires affirmative recipient consent before the SMS delivery action is requested. The delivery is tied to a valid active verification record and is not available as a general-purpose messaging relay.
